I started out in 1980 as a CPA then decided to become a CFP® in 2006 because our tax clients did not have access to a Fee-Only financial planner. The biggest compliment I receive is when a client tells me what a great listener I am. Their trust is a constant reminder that there are a lot of families counting on me. It’s a sobering responsibility but one I embrace.

From childhood, I recognized that money was a powerful thing – it affects our relationships as well as behavior. Under Johanna’s mentorship, I’ve found my calling to use these skills to help clients develop a healthy connection to their money and articulate their dreams and goals into an achievable plan. It’s humbling when clients tell me they feel more secure and confident about their finances because of how I’ve helped.

"My first job at age 13 was in a Bank. I held a Real Estate license during my college years and invested in rental real estate in my work years. I’ve always done my own tax returns. Personal money matters have always been an aptitude and interest for me. During my career as a product & package development manager for a major consumer product company, I navigated the confusing world of financial “advisors”. This has led me to be passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals through sound and objective financial planning."
I’m registered as a “miniature” Australian Shepherd but I weigh about 60 pounds – maybe Lassie sneaked into my gene pool! After all, I know how to fetch my leash to go for a walk and Mom tells me when I’m happy that I can twerk better than Mylie Cyrus. I help the humans at FWM with banking and security and get some awesome treats for my trouble. All in all, Fox & Co. is a pretty good place to work.
